Originally started as a cathartic, musical escape during the 2020 pandemic by vocalist Joel Heywood.
Spitting Teeth, based in the Birmingham area, can be best described as a relentless, intense and punishing force that creates a wall of sound that’s armed to the teeth with filthy, Slipknot esque riffs, samples and soundscapes straight out of the Resident Evil soundtrack and lyrics that will take you to the darkest corners of the human mind.
With a sound that overwhelms the average small stage, their ferocious and dangerous live sets are impressive, earning them praise and recognition amongst their peers and fans alike.
Being a group of people who have all spent years playing in other bands within the UK music scene, Spitting Teeth is comprised of members truly passionate and devoted to their craft, fixated on pushing themselves musically and creatively whilst bringing exciting and heavy, high energy professional performances.
Some highlights of the bands career are supporting Graphic Nature on their headline show at The Underworld in Camden, London. Sharing the stage with great bands such as Thrown and Dying Wish, as well as having the amazing opportunity to perform on the New Blood stage at Bloodstock 2025.
